Introduction

You wake up one morning with a strange feeling.  Your instincts are telling you something is different.  As you reach for your digital alarm clock to check the time, you realize it's gone.  Next you try the light switch, but it's not there either.  As you stumble through your house, everything has changed.  Your bathroom is gone.  You notice a chill in the air because you have no central heating, only a fireplace.  The television, radio and CD player are all missing.  What's going on?
